Spirulina is a microalga from the Cyanophyceae family. It occurs naturally in tropical and subtropical waters and is characterized by its high protein content. In addition, Spirulina contains various minerals such as phosphorus, iron, magnesium, manganese, and zinc compounds, as well as over 50 vital nutrients (vitamins, minerals, and trace elements), all 8 essential amino acids, and 10 non-essential amino acids (for human applications). Spirulina powder has a deep dark green color due to its chlorophyll content.
