Spirulina is a microalga from the Cyanophyceae family. It naturally occurs in tropical and subtropical waters and is characterized by its high protein content. Additionally, Spirulina contains various minerals such as phosphorus, iron, magnesium, manganese, and zinc compounds, as well as over 50 vital nutrients (vitamins, minerals & trace elements), all 8 essential amino acids, and 10 non-essential amino acids (for human consumption). Due to its chlorophyll content, Spirulina powder has a deep dark green color.
