Our Bitter Organic Apricot Kernel Flour* is partially defatted and gently processed from bitter apricot kernels.

Ingredients:
100% pure, natural bitter apricot kernels, with no preservatives or additives.
The flour can be stored long-term in the can.

Due to the hydrogen cyanide naturally present in apricot kernels, consumption can lead to symptoms of poisoning. Keep out of reach of children. According to regulatory guidelines, the maximum daily intake is limited to 2 kernels or approximately 0.5 g to 1.0 g of apricot kernel flour.

Apricot kernels have been cultivated for thousands of years. Traditionally, all parts of the apricot have been used. Bitter apricot kernels and bitter almonds are commonly used in the production of marzipan/persipan and liqueurs. In cosmetics, flour made from almonds and apricot kernels is popular as an exfoliating ingredient.

Despite careful hand-sorting, multiple washing steps before drying, and thorough inspections during each stage of processing, it cannot be completely ruled out that small leaves or stems, occasional shell fragments from cracked apricot kernels, or even a grain of sand from natural drying may be found in the final product.
We kindly ask consumers to visually inspect the product before use and remove any such particles if found.
