Kelp is harvested from the clean coastal waters of the North Atlantic, naturally accumulates trace elements in its cells and is therefore particularly rich in iron and iodine. It also provides essential B vitamins that support important body functions.

Beyond trace elements, the iodine content of Ascophyllum nodosum is especially important. Dietary iodine is essential, but in fresh seaweed and vegetables, levels can vary significantly.

Kelp also contains a high proportion of alginates, which can bind toxic heavy metals — especially mercury and cadmium — in the intestinal tract and support their elimination. This is a completely natural process.

Feeding recommendation (dogs & cats):
¼ teaspoon per 10 kg body weight, 3 times per week, mixed into food.
